The fact of the matter is, the Wiimote can do everything swinging a real tennis racket can do aside from forcing you to buy an actual tennis racket. I think what he is wanting to do would fit better in a tennis or golf shop where you can test out a racket or club to see if the weight and design would fit your preferences.
