Microsoft Must Enjoy Losing Money

Today was the day Microsoft released its financial numbers for the 2007 fiscal year (the Xbox division) and let's just say this: it's a good thing Microsoft isn't a games only company. By the end of the fiscal year, which ended on June 30, Microsoft had posted a loss of $1.9 billion. That's no typo, it's billion. Apparently the fourth quarter was the cause of $1.2 billion in loss so the fact that they can't keep a system working consistently isn't helping them.

So here's my question for Microsoft. How much longer can you afford to "buy" your way into this growing gaming market until you just cut yourself from the race?
